Mother's Day 2007 in the home of Clifford & Anita Marshall

Anita Marshall, 3rd Anniversary Vigil for Mary Lands, March 12, 2007
May 13, 2007 is "Mother’s Day" and will mark the 4th anniversary since Anita Marshall has been able to celebrate this special family holiday with her beloved daughter, Mary Denise Lands.
I’d like to take this opportunity on behalf of myself and the Marshall family to wish all women across America a very Happy Mother’s Day.
We have been extremely critical of Chris Pratt’s girl-friend especially as it related to the loss of Mary’s signs and other dubious activities. We undertook those actions not only to let her realize that what she has done was wrong, but to make her and other people aware of the national tragedy of domestic violence. A supporter recently informed us about a great online resource tool for those in abusive relationships and domestic violence. It may be found at http://www.brokenspirits.com
Thank you.
If Mary Lands was here today, she would be the first person to step up to help anyone suffering domestic violence and physical and emotional abuse.
We have made our point in documenting the loss of our "Justice for Mary" signs on video and will no longer pursue the matter in court. We will also remove the YouTube video presentation that has been published for the last two months and seen by over 23,000 viewers. There will be no further reference to it on the web sites and blogs dedicated to Mary’s disappearance. We sincerely believe that there are many other victims out there who have been suffering in the wake of the disappearance and murder of Mary Lands. Our thoughts will be with Mary and the other victims of domestic violence throughout America.
If you can help bring Mary home, please contact us. Your name will remain confidential if that is your choice.
Happy Mother’s Day to all.

WZZM-TV 13 ABC, in Grand Rapids, Michigan broadcast an interview with Clifford & Anita Marshall concerning the disappearance and murder of their daughter, Mary Lands. The feature was seen on May 16, 2007. You may view the story and video at- http://www.wzzm13.com/news/news_article.aspx?storyid=75365

Were you ordered to remove the You Tube video of Noreen?

Read the posted comment! The video was up for over two months and seen by over 23,000 viewers. It was legally placed and all content was that of a public record.
We made out point and there was no further value to publishing the video. If you are interested you can see the Chris Pratt fish'in video.

Another "Chris Pratt Spotter" called and reported he was at the Marshall Library the other day trying to see himself on his YouTube video. He thinks its cool with the cops theme song, Bad boys bad boys, Watcha gonna do, whatcha gonna do when they come for you? It was observed that he doesn't seem too smart on the Internet or being able to understand the web.
I find it interesting that a new subscriber that day to the Chris Pratt Fish'in video logged on as JPratt40. That person claims to be 21 years of age, living in the U.S, and watching the videos since February 2007.
Maybe the next time he hears the Cops theme song he won't think it is quite so funny.
In the interim Christopher, continue to smirk but we'll have the last laugh as we continue our search and bring Mary home. We won't give up.

Jim - I was just curious and wondered if it had anything to do with the copy written theme song you used. I didn't mean to hit a nerve.
As far as you saying "there was no further value to publishing the video", wouldn't it bring further value to keep it posted to maintain awareness of what the Pratt/Parker team was up to?

I apologize if my comment seemed curt. I heard a similar remark made by someone from the MPD and it clearly was sarcastic.
There was no problem with the theme or leaving the video on YouTube. I made the decision because I have no doubt that Norrene Parker is a victim of domestic violence. The entire Marshall family and I wanted to reduce some stress in her own life and I felt it was the appropriate thing to do especially for Mother’s Day.
Because of various issues including the safety and welfare of Ms. Parker and her children we removed most of the information about her actions from the web sites. It doesn’t change the fact that we documented who was taking Mary’s signs and who was responsible.
I vehemently believe that in a very short time we all will be able to explain our actions and you too, will concur that it was the right move. The next step will be for Norrene Parker herself, to recognize the continuing danger she is in because of domestic violence. When the time is right and public documents are available I will publish that information. Not only will it keep Ms. Parker safe, but she may inspire other women to escape the tragedy of emotional and physical abuse.
Thank you for your interest.
Jim
