The Marshall Historic Home Tour, Protest Walk for Mary helped gain more support for her family

Update, September 13, 2006- Our protest Walk for Mary throughout the weekend during Marshall’s Historic Home Tour was a huge success. Many visitors stopped and spoke with Mary’s parent’s, Clifford & Anita Marshall. We all discussed the bungled investigation and numerous people offered to write letters to members of law enforcement about their poor handling of the case. As visitors and members of the community got off tour buses we handed out flyers and information about Mary’s disappearance. Hundreds of people honked their horns and waved as they drove around the Brooks Fountain Circle in support of our efforts to answer the question, When will we have justice for Mary?
The family, friends and supporters of Mary Denise Lands will continue to promote public awareness about the case. We will again walk at the Criminal Justice Center in Battle Creek in the near future and have a strong presence in Marshall during the upcoming Scarecrow Festival.
Come out and support us.

Any forums of public awareness on behalf of Mary's case always help. Last week during the Home Tour Clifford Marshall received more information to confirm our theory.
The family welcomes any support and is glad to meet with people in the community to talk about their daughter's disappearance.

Attention to the persons who are protecting Christopher Pratt: He is so cold hearted to sell off Mary's things instead of giving them to her family how can you live with yourselves?
Chris, if you need money so bad I am sure someone out there would like the rights to your insanity. This is a Lifetime Movie but should be on Unsolved Mysteries.
How do expect your friends to believe you are protecting someone else if you're selling off her things...

Not only was Chris Pratt caught red-handed selling her personal things and precious mementos, he was also selling the brown leather jacket he said she was wearing the night she supposedly left their apartment. He should have given anything he had of Mary's back to her family so that they could cherish what was hers for all time instead of selling them. That tells you right there how callous and unemotional he is.

if mr. pratt was selling marys items, especially the brown leather jacket that he said she wore on march 12 the night she walked off,why didnt the mpd arrest him?

Having been involved in the search for Marl Lands now for sometime it is still amazing to me to this day the COMPLETE IGNORANCE of the Marshall Police Department... My entire family has been involved in Law enforcement for several years. I would say the Chief of Police of Marshall and his top two men were like the Three Stooges but I really do not wish to discrace the stooges... Isnt it obvious by now the Marshall Police Department does INDEED have something to hide..that something to hide might include the lack of Integrity, Proper Training and any Emotions pertaining to Duty...Perhaps the door to the Marshall Police Department should read "HELP WANTED" I personally can say without doubt in the last 6 months I have logged more field hours looking for clues than the Marshall Police Department combined, the good news for the Marshall Police Department is the Minimum Wage was raised and if any of these SO CALLED Police officers make more than minimum wage perhaps this might get them involved in the case a little more...
So in closing lets all come together to buy the Marshall Police Department Helpful Books such as Dictionaries, I think then and only then the Chief could see what the words "Duty" "Integrity" & "Honor" actually mean... My personal Challenge to the Marshall Police department is simple...Put away the Doughnuts, the Adam 12 movies and PLEASE JUST DO YOUR JOB...If You cannot do your job their are THREE Simple Letters of the Alphabet that might help you out... FBI

i think thats what marys family is trying to say.why didnt they arrest chris when marys coat was brought into them.it is clear he lied about her leaving that night on her own wearing that coat and then he tried to hide it by selling it at a flea market far away from marshall.

Has ANY evidence pointing to "foul play" even been discovered? (Other than the fact that Mary is, indeed, missing)There is no such thing as a perfect crime, right? So there has to be evidence SOMEWHERE, even if evidence has been destroyed and can never be recovered, there is Something Submerged Somewhere... Think about it...

Of course there is evidence. But how much of it has been destroyed and mishandled by the Marshall Police Department and how much has been destroyed by Chris and his accomplises themselves? Keep looking over your back Chris. The truth will be come out.

These are the kind of postive attitudes that we all need to maintain.
If any one of us had even been suspected of these type crimes law enforcement agencies would have has us under a microscope for the rest of our lives.
Instead, people seem to walk about the Marshall community with impunity, and knowing they will never be arrested.
John Gotti was known as the "Teflon Don" in NYC for many years, but the FBI finally took him down and he died in prison.
Some paltry local gangster known as the "Creeper" might think he is invincible, but that person is going to die in prison too. The only issue will be the sentence? Then again, a perpetrator might seek to reduce a sentence by implicating all the people who are trying to keep him protected today. Every person who may be involved in criminal activities related to the Mary Lands case should remember, What goes around, comes around!
